Mary Bale hit the headlines after being filmed putting poor puss Lola into a bin

MOST-HATED CAT BIN LADY 'DOESN'T FEEL FORGIVEN'

A WOMAN who faced relentless online abuse after appearing in a notorious viral video depositing a cat into a bin has reportedly "never got over her notoriety" following the episode.

Mary Bale was a 45-year-old unmarried bank employee when she was captured on CCTV walking along a street and abruptly pausing to pet a neighbouring cat.

She then glanced around, before seizing the unsuspecting cat by the scruff and forcefully placing the unfortunate animal inside a wheelie bin.

The 2010 incident sparked fury online and transformed Ms Bale's life permanently. The cat, Lola, appeared largely unharmed by the ordeal and enjoyed a contented life until reaching 16 years old, passing away approximately five years ago.

Still recognised globally as the Cat Bin Lady, Ms Bale is understood to now be living as a recluse in the suburban district of Coventry where she remains to this day. Some of her neighbours are seemingly oblivious they reside alongside a woman who was previously the target of widespread internet fury.

Her neighbour, speaking on condition of anonymity to the Daily Mail, revealed they have known Ms Bale throughout the years since the incident.

"She was vilified by people across the world," they said. "Most people have long forgotten it, but not everyone and she doesn't feel forgiven!"
