Hero dog saves sleeping owner from blaze

A MAN was saved by his hero dog after his phone charger burst into flames while he was asleep at home.

Mr Fairley crawled through smoke to get the house phone before fire crews arrived to tackle the flames.

He said: “Skye woke me up and I couldn't see anything for the smoke.
