JAMAICA faces the worst tropical storm in its history today as Hurricane Melissa barrels towards it, growing in strength.
Melissa had reached category 5 last night, with winds of around 165mph. Parts of the Caribbean island, including capital Kingston, were evacuated in readiness for extreme rain and flooding, breathtaking winds and dangerous storm surges.
