Saints snap up former Motherwell midfielder on short-term deal
St Mirren have kicked off their winter transfer window business by snapping up midfielder Allan Campbell.
The 27-year-old becomes the Buddies' first signing this month as he joins on a short-term deal until the end of the season.
Former Motherwell midfielder Campbell has been a free agent since leaving Dundee United in the summer after making 13 appearances for the Tangerines.
And he is the latest former Steelman to be reunited with boss Stephen Robinson after Mark O'Hara and Liam Donnelly signed on at the SMISA Stadium.
Campbell - who started his career at 'Well and went on to make 160 appearances for the club between 2016 and 2021 - now becomes the 10th former 'Well player signed by Robbo during his spell in Paisley.
