Members honoured at company inspection

The 8th Paisley Boys' Brigade (BB) recently celebrated the end of another exciting and enjoyable session with its annual company inspection and display.

Simon McNeill, the Paisley and district battalion development officer, was the chief guest for the evening which took place at Paisley West Church.

A packed programme allowed the young people to demonstrate their skills and talents.

The highlight of the evening saw nine boys awarded the highest award the organisation can offer - the King's Badge.

The King's Badge aims to challenge and equip the individual, provide new opportunities and expand horizons while remaining accessible to young people of all abilities.

The nine young people awarded the badge last week rose to the challenge and succeeded in meeting the high standards required.
