HE FACES CHARGE OF MISCONDUCT IN A PUBLIC PLACE
A SERVING police officer has appeared in court charged with misconduct in public office after he allegedly pursued an improper relationship with a vulnerable woman he met on duty.
Kashif Saghir, 22, appeared at Leicester Magistrates' Court on Friday for his first hearing.
Saghir, of Nottingham, is charged with wilfully misconducting himself between September 14 and October 14 last year while acting as a police constable in Derby.
