Forest preparing to officially lodge plan to expand stadium

Forest's ambitious plans to expand the City Ground and take capacity above 50,000 are set to be officially lodged early this year.It had initially been reported that the Reds would officially submit their latest plans to Rushcliffe Borough Council last month.

Fans had their first chance to look at the plans at a public exhibition early last month.

They entail a much bigger City Ground expansion than envisioned when original proposals were unveiled in 2019.

Rushcliffe Borough Council approved plans in the summer for a Peter Taylor Stand expansion and other work, but the latest plans will see a much bigger Peter Taylor Stand and work to other parts of the City Ground.
