Cafe's plea: Use us or lose us

THE owners of a small cafe have warned they have just eight weeks to turn the business around.

If sales don't pick up soon, the Peckish Artisan Kitchen in Hucknall will have to close.

Owners Lisa Woodward and Tamela McNulty posted an emotional video on the cafe's Facebook page laying bare the hard facts.

In their "use us or lose us message" on Sunday, they said the cafe, which serves roast dinners, was completely empty. Trade has also dropped on Fridays and Saturdays.

Opening hours at were previously cut from five to three days because Wednesdays and Thursdays were no longer viable.
