Heartbreak as raider leaves 'trail of destruction' at cafe

THE owners of a Nottingham café say their hearts have been broken by a destructive thief who smashed through the ceiling and stole presents.

Toast on Derby Road had to close from Saturday to Tuesday because of a “trail of destruction” left by a criminal who smashed their way inside in the early hours of December 20.
Bosses of the café, which is known for its homemade breakfasts and lunches, told the Post they believed one person had been involved in the break-in, which happened at around 2.10am.
