Pool gets £135k eco upgrade

ILFRACOMBE Swimming Pool and Gym has undergone a major eco-friendly overhaul, with the completion of a £135,000 project aimed at improving energy efficiency at the Hillsborough Road site.
-
The initiative included the installation of new solar panels, LED lighting and double-glazed windows, with funding contributions from both Sport England and North Devon Council's Rural England Prosperity Fund. The upgrades are expected to make the facility more sustainable and cost-effective for the community.
