A DRIVER was clocked behind the wheel without a licence after trying to head the wrong way along Deansgate in a garish MercedesBenz.

Part of the bustling city centre street is now one-way for cars.
But one wannabe motorist had not realised as they tried to head in the wrong direction, according to Greater Manchester Police.
