FRESH evidence is to be presented to a court in a bid to have a woman's murder conviction overturned.

Amanda O'Shaughnessy was convicted of killing her partner, David Butterworth, when she stabbed him in the back with a kitchen knife.
She admitted stabbing David Butterworth at their St Helens home but claimed she had been acting in self-defence when she picked up the kitchen knife and had not meant to kill him.
