A PLAN for a new health centre has emerged for a village.
One Medical Property has submitted a planning application to open the centre in George Street, Enderby.
It would be built on the old playing fields of the former Danemill Primary School, in Townsend Road.
The school converted to the Enderby adult education centre in 2018. The former playing fields have not been used for some time, plans state.
If approved, the new building will accommodate Enderby Medical Centre and a pharmacy.
Documents sent to Blaby District Council state that the health centre would have 13 consulting/treatment rooms.
