SRINAGAR: A tourist group travelling through Srinagar’s Boulevard Road, primarily from Maharashtra and Mumbai, expressed deep admiration for Kashmir, calling it “heaven on earth” despite initial fears following the deadly Pahalgam attack.

Speaking to reporters, members of the group maintained that Kashmir remains the safest destination. “Kashmir is the safest place in the world,” one female tourist said. Despite their alarm over the attack, their firsthand experiences of Kashmiri hospitality had calmed their fears.
