Moran praises young talents

MAYO manager Andy Moran hailed the mentality of his young players after they secured an All-Ireland semi-final spot with a five-point win over Cork yesterday.

Teenagers Darragh Beirne and Kobe McDonald were key to their success with 11 points shared between them.

Beirne picked up the man of the match award and Moran was delighted to see them rise to the occasion in their first Croke Park appearances as senior footballers.
