New measures to 'design out crime'

WORK has been completed to improve security measures around “crime spots” in Bridlington, East Riding Council has confirmed.

The council has recently replaced brick walls and thin metal sheeting around Dukes Park with a fence, in order to increase visibility.

Graffiti on the footpath adjacent to the park has also been removed, both of which will help reduce incidents of crime and antisocial behaviour.
