Rain lashes several areas of the country

Light to heavy rain fell in various parts of the country on Monday, including Wadi Al Helo and Al Burair in the Eastern Region, as well as along the Kalba Road.
More rain is expected in the east and south on Tuesday.
This rainfall is the result of weak surface pressure systems, which are accompanied by an extension of a high-pressure system in the upper atmosphere, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).
The NCM has also expected that the weather on Tuesday will be humid in the morning in some coastal and inland areas, clear to partly cloudy, with a chance of cumulus clouds that may be accompanied by rain in some eastern and southern areas.
