City has a jol for the Festive Lights Switch-On
DECEMBER started lekker liggies as thousands gathered on the Grand Parade and along Adderley Street to watch the summer skies light up for the 56th edition of the Festive Lights Switch-On.
This free, family-friendly celebration took place this year under the theme "United in Hope".
Mense stieked uit with their hele family and friends for his annual celebration which has grown into one of Cape Town's most beloved traditions and a symbol of Cape Town's community spirit.
The show kicked off at 4pm, but families had already gathered early in the morning to ensure they get the best seats in the house.
