SA20 ace Mokoena eyes New Zealand in a push to make his debut for Proteas

FORMER South Africa under-19 international Nqobani Mokoena burst on the scene during SA20 this season, claiming 13 wickets for Paarl Royals, and forming a potent new-ball combination with the seasoned Ottneil Baartman.

The pair are back together again in New Zealand, where the 19-year-old is hoping to make his Proteas T20 debut against the Black Caps at Mount Maunganui in the first of five matches on Sunday (8.15am start).
