CALIFORNIA Governor Gavin Newsom is suing the Trump administration after they deployed the National Guard during riots in LA.

Protests kicked off against Donald Trump's immigration policies after raids were carried out across the city.

This prompted the US President to deploy the state-based military force in an extraordinary response. But Newsom said the move was an "unconstitutional act, and we're going to test that theory with a lawsuit tomorrow".
