CODIAK (8.00, nap) looks picture perfect on the sand at Southwell today.

Ed Bethell’s four-year-old is improving race by race and tackles the Midnite Are Upping The Betting Game Handicap.

The son of Make Believe stayed on strongly to win a novice event at Wolverhampton in early December, beating the Gosdens’ Gold Penny by six lengths.

He runs off a perch of 82 and there looks to be plenty more in his locker.
