JONNY CONCRETE can cement his place in the affections of punters by landing today’s G4 Claims Scottish Stewards’ Cup at Hamilton.

The progressive four-year-old has taken his form to a new level over the past 12 months for Iain Jardine (below), winning half of his six starts and finishing second on the other three.

He’s still heading in the right direction and ran up to his best last time at York, finishing off his race well when touched off by today’s rival Kats Bob (2Ib better off with that one).

Early quotes around the 11-1 mark appeal in this competitive sprint.

There’s a couple who take the fancy at Haydock, where FLATLEY (2.05, nap) can dance to victory in the Racing To School Apprentice Handicap.
