Vagana Jr follows lead of 'awesome' dad Joe

HIS dad was part of Bradford's 'Awesome Foursome' - but Wakefield's Isaiah Vagana is out to make his own name in Super League.

The hard-running forward lines up against Hull KR tonight as Trinity make their top-flight homecoming at Belle Vue.

But the New Zealander, of course, follows in the footsteps of his famous father Joe.

Vagana Sr won three Grand Finals, a Challenge Cup and three World Club Challenges when Bulls ruled the sport in the early 2000s.

Along with fellow props Brian McDermott, Stuart Fielden and Paul Anderson, the ex-Kiwi international was an integral part of a fearsome pack.
