LEE CARSLEY insists defeat to Germany in the group stages convinced him his Young Lions could go all the way to glory.
England face off against Germany in tonight's final in Bratislava and Carsley (inset) revealed he told opposite number Antonio Di Salvo his side would be the ones to beat.
"It was a bit tongue-incheek," said Carsley.
