WIN WASN’T WHAT FOXY’S DOC ORDERED

SEAN CRIGHTON has revealed Charlie Fox had hospital staff worried sick pre-op — because he was “bouncing off the bed” celebrating a first home win since January.
-
Queen's Park dumped Raith seven days ago as Josh Fowler dedicated his scoring exploits to the defender, holding up his jersey when celebrating.
Fox had an op on Tuesday after a season-ending knee injury suffered at Firhill a fortnight ago.
And Crighton, whose Spiders go to St Johnstone today, revealed his prep for an op was livelier than most.
The head coach said: “He was following the game on his iPad and had a couple of friends in.
“Charlie was bouncing off the bed - even though he can’t bounce - when Josh's second goal went in.
“The people in the hospital ran in to say, ‘Charlie, are you all right?”
“And he was like, ‘No... I'm delighted, sorry to cause such an uproar’
