CONNOR MCLELLAN insists Livingston can go toe-to-toe with any team in the league.

- BY MARK WALKER

CONNOR MCLELLAN insists Livingston can go toe-to-toe with any team in the league.

But he knows the West Lothian side must be more clinical when they're on top.

The former Aberdeen winger gave Livi the lead in first-half injury time, only for David Martindale’s side to concede a soft equaliser to Marcus Dackers.

McLennan’s progress at Livingston has stalled after a couple of injuries this season but he’s now scored two in his last three games.

And he's convinced the Lions can dig themselves out of trouble.

He said: “I've had a couple of starts and a couple of goals too.

“So hopefully I can repay the gaffer's faith in me and score some more goals.

“It has been a frustrating first half of the season with me picking up two injuries.

“So now I am hoping to kick on.
