THREE days after New Year celebrations were brought to a horrifying and sudden halt, Crans-Montana fell silent again yesterday.

Loved ones of those killed in Le Constellation bar fire were among more than 2,000 mourners who joined a deliberately noiseless march through the streets of the Swiss ski resort.

They took part in the emotional walk to the scene of the tragedy, which has left at least 40 dead and another 119 injured. There, they left flowers and candles at a growing shrine by the bar.
