Fan dislocates shoulder then pops it in to return to terraces

- BY ROSS DUNN

A TARTAN Army veteran dislocated his shoulder celebrating Scott McTominay's goal - then returned to see the rest of the game after receiving emergency treatment.

Hampden erupted in joy and disbelief as the midfielder's stunning overhead kick hit the net after three minutes.

But it was short-lived for long-suffering Scotland fan David Moody as he dislocated his shoulder during the celebrations.

As jubilant scenes played out in the stands, he was left in agony as his right shoulder was ripped out of its socket.

Unable to lift his arm and suffering unbearable pain, David, known as Yeti to his friends, was rushed to Hampden's first aid room.

There, his dislocated shoulder was pushed back in - but he ignored medical advice to go to hospital and instead went back to the stands to witness scenes that will live with him forever.

Despite the pain, he celebrated with pals as goals by Lawrence Shankland, Kieran Tierney and Kenny McLean sent Scotland to the World Cup finals for the first time in 28 years.
