Raid on squalid pet farm

DOZENS of dogs and puppies are understood to have been "seized" from a home in Stirling amid an SSPCA probe.

Officers from the animal welfare charity and Police Scotland were called to an address in Buchlyvie on Wednesday after reports of dogs being kept in squalid conditions.

The Record has been told 24 dogs and an undisclosed number of puppies were taken into care.

Images shared with the Record show dogs being kept outside in a caged enclosure in filthy conditions.
