Fake lawyer jailed over death crash

A MAN who posed as a road traffic lawyer on TikTok has been jailed for nine years after he killed a pensioner in a crash.

Leigh Sutherland was speeding in an ageing Ford Mondeo with dodgy brakes at the Condorrat Ring Road outside Cumbernauld, near Glasgow, in June 2023.

The 31-year-old ploughed into a Peugeot 108 driven by 77-year-old Margaret Allan. A child was also hurt.

Sutherland, of Cumbernauld, tried to blame the OAP, who died weeks later, saying at the scene: “It would not have happened if the f***ing b***h had not pulled out”.
