Farage told order probe on links to Russia, Row rages after MEP took Moscow bungs
NIGEL Farage was last night facing mounting pressure to investigate pro-Putin links in Reform.
The party leader was urged to act after an ex-colleague was jailed for 10 years for taking £40,000 in Moscow bungs.
One MP said: “The grubby saga shows Labour's Reform's Russia-friendly.”
Meanwhile, a Met probe into whether the scandal runs deeper is ongoing.
Defence minister Luke Pollard said: “Of course, we've seen Nigel Farage try to dismiss this episode as just one a bad apple.
“He's said he was ‘shocked’ to learn such a senior figure was taking bungs from figures linked to the Kremlin.
“Yet if he’s really so shocked, you'd think he'd want to prove to the British people that he’s doing something about it.”
