Calvert-Lewin hints he wants to extend stay

DOMINIC CALVERT-LEWIN has dropped his clearest hint yet that he wishes to extend his stay at Everton.
His contract expires at the end of June and he is one of more than a dozen players set to leave in the summer. But with talks ongoing between the club and the striker, that could yet change. For Calvert-Lewin, who has been injured since January, the new momentum running through Everton appears to have made staying on Merseyside more appealing.
As he closes on a return to fitness - and potentially one final appearance before the Blues leave Goodison Park - he told BBC Sport: "My main focus is making sure I am in the best condition, it is like going through a mini pre-season to get fit for these last four games.
