Drug dealer claimed men threatened to 'chop him up'

A DRUG dealer claimed he was under pressure to sell drugs because men had threatened to kill him and “chop him up”.
A court heard Miles Stain had £12,000 debts but no evidence was provided about the threats.
In any case it was Stain’s second such drugs offence. The 21-year-old, of East Parade, Rhyl, admitted being concerned in the supply of a class B drug, namely cannabis.
A judge at Mold Crown Court yesterday jailed him for 14 months.
Joseph Lees, prosecuting, said a police officer saw Stain emerge from an alleyway just before 2pm on Sunday, June 30, 2024. The officer smelled cannabis and stopped the suspect in Bodfor Street.
He found three large bags of cannabis weighing a total of 43 grams, a grinder and two Ecstasy tablets. Police then searched Stain’s home and found £160 in cash.
