King and Queen meet the Pope

THE King and Queen capped off their state visit by meeting the Pope as he recovers from pneumonia.

Charles and Camilla visited him at the Vatican on the same day they celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary.

A photo released by the Vatican shows the Queen shaking hands with the Holy Father, who is seated, while the King holds a small red box before an exchange of presents.
