Two arrested over antisemitic attack on ambulances

COUNTER-terrorism police have arrested two men over the antisemitic firebombing of four Jewish community ambulances.

Three men were seen torching the Hatzola charity's vehicles in the early hours of Monday morning.

Scotland Yard revealed two British nationals — aged 47 and 45 — were arrested on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life at separate addresses in North West and Central London yesterday morning.

The Metropolitan Police said they were "mindful" the attack appeared to have been carried out by three people, meaning at least one person remained on the run.

Met Commander Helen Flanagan, Head of Counter Terrorism Policing London, said: "We have been working around the clock since this appalling attack took place and this has led to these arrests.
