Mcllroy wants elite to face each other more frequently
RORY MCILROY has called for the world's best golfers to be contracted to play in the top events as part of the game's vision for the future.
Talks between the PGA Tour and Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund remain ongoing over the way ahead.
But Mcllroy wants any deal struck to bring an end to the current pick-and-choose set-up.
The cream are only guaranteed to clash at the Majors at present and the world No.2 feels the fractured landscape is detrimental to the marketability of the sport.
Mcllroy is willing to sign to play against his biggest rivals throughout the season and he wants others to do the same.
