A MUM weighing 23st has slimmed down to nearly half the woman she was after spending £2,000 on Mounjaro injections.

Tina Bashford, 41, bought her first dose when her GP said she was pre-diabetic and her only option was weight-loss surgery abroad.

Not wanting to go under the knife, she turned to weight-loss jabs. But she had to buy them herself as they were not available on the NHS then — and still remain hard to get this way.
