OLLIE OUT TO REPEAT WINS AS SCHOOLBOY

OLLIE LAWRENCE experienced New Zealand for the first time as a schoolboy now he is aiming to teach the All Blacks a lesson.

The Bath centre is one of a rare English breed who have a winning record Down Under, thanks to a trip in 2017 with Bromsgrove School in Worcestershire.

He will put his record - played five, won three, lost two on the line against New Zealand this morning in Dunedin on his second tour here.

Seven years ago, Lawrence took in a Highlanders game against the Reds at the Forsyth Barr Stadium, venue for today's opening clash, and was in the stands when the Lions tied the epic series with the All Blacks, with a dramatic 15-15 draw in Auckland.
