Actor David Harewood travels across America to meet the Black heroes of his youth
He's one of our best-loved actors, but David Harewood had to travel to America to break into acting and win the roles and opportunities he deserved.
Now the Homeland star is fronting a new BBC Two documentary called Get On Up: The Triumph Of Black America to shine a light on how African American performers changed culture across the world.
