: The death anniversary of Bharat Ratna and former Prime Minister of India, Shri Rajiv Gandhi, was observed with solemnity and reverence by the Khammam District Congress Committee.

The commemorative event was held at the District Congress Office under the leadership of DCC President Sri Puvvala Durga Prasad.
Senior Congress leaders, including former MLC Sri Potla Nageswara Rao and City Congress Working President Sri Nagandla Deepak Choudhary, along with party workers, paid floral tributes to the portrait of Rajiv Gandhi. Later, they proceeded to Mayuri Centre and the statue near the canal bank to offer garlands and honor his memory.
