FOUR NEW ARRIVALS FOR BUSY ST IVES TOWN BOSS

- By STEPHEN PAGE

ST IVES Town boss Ricky Marheineke admits he is “really happy” with how his squad is taking shape ahead of the new season.

The club have confirmed four new arrivals ahead of the upcoming campaign, with Ollie Taylor, Theo Alexandrou, Jamal Adams and Liam Cross having joined the club.

Marheineke has been tasked with replacing some key players this summer, with manager’s player of the season Dan Wilks and top goalscorer Will Glennon departing for Step Two outfits, while players’ and supporters’ player of the season Alex Collard has also left the club.

The St Ives Town boss is pleased with the players he has been able to recruit so far in what he believes have been challenging circumstances for the club.

"I think for a club like St Ives, preseason is always a difficult time," the manager told his club's website.
