DIE Mokopane DBV het die afgelope jaar betekenisvolle veranderings ondergaan.
Die span streef elke jaar daarna om nóg beter diens te lewer aan die diere en die gemeenskap. Die Mokopane DBV bedien 'n uitgestrekte area wat Groblersdal, Bela-Bela, Bakenberg, Roedtan, Marken en die omliggende landelike gebiede insluit.
"Statistiek wys 'n duidelike toename in die aantal diere wat ons ontvang, meestal weens veranderende sosio-ekonomiese omstandighede. Ons sien ook 'n toename in die aantal klagtes oor dieremishandeling, wat ons interpreteer as 'n teken van hernude vertroue van die gemeenskap in die DBV se vermoë om in te gryp en te help," vertel Elzette van Zyl, DBV Mokopane bestuurder.
