Mum jailed again for huge theft from employer

A MARRIED mum who was ‘addicted to spending’ stole nearly £200,000 from her employers.

Ewa Bieniak worked as a payroll administrator at Wednesbury-based Sirus Automotive, which provides mobility vehicles for disabled people.

Between November 2021 and March last year she swindled the business out of £194,509.

Innocent staff were suspected of the theft until Bieniak was identified as the culprit.

The 46-year-old Polish national, of Turner Avenue, Wolverhampton, admitted fraud by abuse of position and was sentenced to three years and nine months at Birmingham Crown Court on Monday. It was the second time she has been jailed for stealing a huge sum of money from her place of work.
