Strike had ‘minimal' impact, claims boss

NHS bosses in Birmingham and Solihull said recent strikes by resident doctors had 'minimal' impact on hospital services.

Up to 75 per cent of the medics in the area, formerly known as junior doctors, took part in the industrial action in a dispute over pay and training between November 14-19.
But members of the University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust board heard how the vast majority of services were delivered to patients during the five day walkout.
