1 dies as speeding car hits truck on SG road

The accident occurred around 3 am on Saturday when the car, reportedly moving at high speed, smashed directly into the rear of the van that had been stuck under the low-clearance stretch since midnight.

Batra, a resident of Aryan Opulence in Ambli, was declared dead during treatment, while Choksi, a third-year BA student at Ahmedabad University, originally from Mumbai and now living in Mithakhali, is in a critical condition. Agarwal was discharged after receiving treatment for minor injuries.

Preliminary findings suggest the car was speeding at the time of the accident. Police registered a case against the deceased Batra, pending further inquiry.
