There's no rule book for dealing with a misogynistic teenager, but if there were, we're pretty sure it wouldn't suggest presenting them with a new laptop and trusting they'll be so grateful that they'll change their ways. This, however, has been the approach adopted by Ross when it comes to son Joel. Yes, he's given the lad the odd lecture as well, but his words have lacked clout.

This week, as it becomes clearer that Joel is disturbed and dangerous, will Ross finally do something to keep the women of Walford - and beyond - safe?
