There’s bad blood between Mackenzie Boyd and newcomer John Sugden, thanks to the former having stolen the miserable ex-squaddie’s van – which was also his ‘home’ – and sunk it in a lake.

So when a bull ‘happens’ to get loose at Butlers, putting Mack’s life in danger, it looks like John has resorted to dangerous measures to get even.

Mack thinks nothing of it when big sister Moira earlier asks him to fix a quad bike that’s in one of the barns.
