We were living in two worlds immersing ourselves into American culture while still remaining connected to our Indian roots," says first gen Indian American and native New Yorker Pavan Pardasani who grew up in a typical immigrant household speaking fluent Hindi and visiting Mumbai annually to spend time with his extended family. Inspired by his parents' journey as business owners in the garment industry, Pavan knew he wanted to study marketing and international business from a very young age. However, while pursuing his degree at NYU's Stern School of Business, he developed an interest in the nightlife industry. Subsequently, he played a major role in the Hamptons nightlife scene and further honed his skills while at Catch Hospitality. "I had worked at a few restaurants prior to diving into nightlife and found great pleasure in socialising with the guests and serving them. It was a different way to express the same love of meeting new people, especially while living in NYC as a young adult. I started throwing parties for my friends in college at a time when nightlife began to evolve into more of a luxury space with bottle service just landing in America," he recalls.

In 2013, Pavan moved to Las Vegas to join the Hakkasan Group as the Executive Director of Nightlife Marketing where he oversaw the development of the Hakkasan and Omnia brands.
