Rahul Sharma's story is one of heritage, discipline, and relentless ambition. As the son of Maharaj Jai Sharma - from a proud Sindhi family that made its home in Hong Kong, Rahul grew up with the values of perseverance and self-belief deeply ingrained. Though he was raised abroad, his heartbeat remained closely tied to Ulhasnagar, the city in Maharashtra that became a symbol of Sindhi resilience after Partition. For him, Ulhasnagar represents more than just ancestral history - it stands as a reminder of a people who rebuilt their world from nothing, turning displacement into determination.

“My Sindhi foundation isn’t just history; it’s the unyielding bedrock of my ambition. Every obstacle is simply a test of the resilience my people forged. I don’t forget where I came from. I use it as fuel to become the undisputed best,” says Rahul, reflecting on the origins of his drive.

From a young age in Hong Kong, Rahul showed a remarkable love for sport. He played cricket and rugby competitively for years, cultivating a passion for endurance and teamwork that would later define his life. “Being competitive from birth means always wanting to be one of the best in your field,” he admits. “But you also need something that helps you stay grounded.”
