It's been 25 years since Scrubs first hit screens, but the revival of the series will have you feeling like no time has passed when the original theme song, 'Superman' by Lazlo Bane, starts blasting through your speakers during the opening credits. The medical comedy developed a cult following after its premiere in 2001 and the show's return to our televisions today proves those fans - and likely some new ones who have discovered it on Disney+ - haven't gone away.

The original series followed the humorous and heartwarming hijinks of healthcare professionals at Sacred Heart Hospital. Leading the oddball bunch was daydreaming intern John “JD” Dorian (Zach Braff), his best friend, Christopher Turk (Donald Faison), and his smarty pants sometimes girlfriend, Elliot Reid (Sarah Chalke). Now, the trio are scrubbing in together for the first time in a long while.
